About

I was asked to design a portal for mass messaging advertisement platform, a user-friendly and efficient web portal for a mass messaging advertisement platform that allows businesses to create, manage, and distribute large-scale advertising campaigns through various messaging channels.

 

Portal should include an Intuitive campaign creation interface with customizable templates and options to define target audience demographics, interests, and geographical locations. The campaigns menu should include advanced scheduling options for campaign launch and duration.

 

Dashboard should view the real-time campaign performance tracking with

metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates and data visualization through graphs and charts. Also the dashboard should be user-friendly and summarizing ongoing and past campaigns with real-time notifications for campaign status changes and updates.

Problem Statement

The system was not user friendly, not intuitive, the basic actions that the main users of the system had to do constantly caused them difficulties. I needed to study the existing product, understand how it works and what are the users pain points, and recreate it anew. Getting BI information was not effective, as it was accessible through three clicks, which had to be redesigned. Some actions were designed as popups from popups which should also be changed. 

User Research

Target audience:
Small business owners men and women alike aged 30 plus. They don't have excess manpower, so they have to do the advertisement part by themselves. This requires short learning curve of UI and very intuitive user flow. 

Medium and large businesses advertisement managers man and woman alike aged 30 plus.

Avi working hard full day and has to do the advertisement at the excess of his quality time with family and he doesn't want this to take too long.

Marital Status: married +3.
 
Haya is working full time on advertisement campaigns for Shufersal's clients. She needs easy and quick access to campaign management, also she needs an easy and dynamic way to manage campaigns. So the design of the campaign management should be easy and effective to reduce time needed for common user flows. Also she is starting her day by checking BI information on campaigns, so she wants to see it first thing when she open the dashboard.
 
Pain Points:
  • user flow was not intuitive
  • each assignment in the system took too long
  • dashboard information was nor accessible as default page
  • menu navigation was cumbersome
